Oraciones negativas
1. Presente Simple:
- Estructura: Sujeto + do/does + not + verbo principal.
- Ejemplo: I do not like coffee. (No me gusta el café.)
- She does not like coffee. (Ella no le gusta el café.)
- You
are not coming to the party. (No vas a venir a la fiesta.)
- They
did not finish their homework. (No terminaron su tarea.)
Si no hay un verbo auxiliar, se utiliza el verbo auxiliar
"do" (en presente) o "did" (en pasado), seguido de la
partícula "not". Por ejemplo:
- You do
not speak Spanish. (No hablas español.)
- He did
not go to the store. (No fue a la tienda.)
Es importante tener en cuenta que en inglés, la partícula
"not" se puede contraer con el verbo auxiliar, formando las
contracciones "don't" y "didn't", respectivamente. Por
ejemplo:
- She doesn't like coffee. (Ella no le gusta el café.)
- They
didn't finish their homework. (No terminaron su tarea.)
2. Pasado Simple:
- Estructura: Sujeto + did + not + verbo principal.
- Ejemplo: They did not go to the party. (Ellos no fueron a la fiesta.)
3. Futuro:
- Estructura: Sujeto + will + not + verbo principal.
- Ejemplo: She will not come to the meeting. (Ella no vendrá a la reunión.)
